Download a Letter of Intent
Download a Letter of Intent for the award you are applying for. Please note the purpose of this LOI is solely to allow for screening of the grant concept; the LOI does not in any manner bind the investigator to Bayer in a contractual agreement. Complete the Letter of Intent providing the title of the proposed research or educational project, a 500-word description, and a budget estimate.

E-mail completed Letters of Intent to the Administrator at: PHAB.awards@bayer.com
Letters of Intent will be reviewed by all members of the Grants Review Committee. Applicants submitting acceptable Letters of Intent will be asked by the Committee to submit a Full Proposal.
Applicants invited to submit a Full Proposal will receive the application form by e-mail.
Next Steps
Full Proposal
If your Letter of Intent is accepted by the Committee, you will receive, by e-mail, the Full Proposal form. The latter will be a Word document. You should complete the Full Proposal form before emailing the document to the Administrator. There may be a requirement for you to include other documents with your form, e.g. a CV. These should be cut and pasted into your form so that you submit a single Word or PDF document.
If a given section does not apply to your proposal, please write ‘not applicable’ in the appropriate space, so we can be sure it was not left blank in error.
